A Mathematical Viewpoint for Success
This comes from 2 math teachers with a combined total of 70 yrs. experience Here is a little something someone sent me that is indisputable mathematical logic. It also made me Laugh Out Loud. This is a strictly mathematical viewpoint….it goes like this: What Makes 100%? What does it mean to give MORE than 100%? Ever wonder about those people who say they are giving more than 100%? We...

Why I Like to See Falls
I cant tell with my naked eye the difference between a double and triple axle. Or a toe loop or god help me a “lutz”. That’s why I like to see falls. I CAN tell the difference between someone still up on their toes and someone butt-kissing the ice.

Last night we livestreamed my daughter’s 1st grade Science Fair Project. She wanted to test which battery brand: Energizer, Rayovac, or Duracell lasts longer. We put brand new batteries into identical new MagLight flashlights, turned on the camera and recorded overnight. Click here to see the recordings

The Reality of Snow in NC
Me: You driving in today?
Neighbor: I'm a native. I'll wait it out.
Me: Wait what out?
Neighbor: Wait for the ice to melt.
Me: When will that be?
Neighbor: Eh. Who knows. I have plenty of beer. You going in?
Me: Yeah. I'm a seasoned driver in the snow and ice.
Neighbor: Yeah, but no one else is.
